• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Have your own tools
• Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, Jeep certification

20-24 Hours / week. Saturday's Optional

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in our service area lot and to the service area for customer pickup.
• General cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
• Maintain lot order.
• Cleans service and other areas as directed by management.
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and organized as directed by management.
• Provides transportation for customers.
• Must be alert of traffic flow in service lots.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements (include but are not limited to):

• Ability to operate both standard and automotive vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
• Friendly and neat appearance
• Physical capability of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary.
• Capacity to take direction.
• Drug free.

Coronet of Peru, is seeking an energetic, motivated individual with knowledge of automotive parts to join our team! You will assist our shop technicians, answer phone calls, and assist walk-in customers. Department employees are responsible for using a parts catalog, stocking, selling and billing automotive parts. This is a full time position!

Parts Counter Person Responsibilities:

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Work with the parts manager to locate any parts, not in stock.
• Complete special order part request for customers and service personnel.
• Communicate with customers on parts status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to industry.

Parts Counter Person Qualifications:

• Previous dealership parts experience is preferred but not required, willing to train the right person!
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Have strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Professional appearance and great communication skills
