Should I have my oil changed every 3,000 miles?
There has always been the old adage of changing your oil every 3,000 miles. In truth, the number of miles you travel before you need an oil change depends on your vehicle. Every vehicle has a different threshold it can reach before an oil change is necessary. That information is usually located in your manual.
How long do spark plugs last?
The spark plug is an instrumental part to your car. Making sure it works properly is important. Therefore, it is important that you replace your old spark plug with a new one every 30,000 miles or so to get the best performance out of your vehicle.
When should I replace my timing belt?
Over time, timing belts can become worn down from extensive use. Similarly to oil changes, the longevity of your vehicle’s timing belt is dependent upon that particular vehicle. If you are unsure if you need to change the belt, bring it in for inspection.
Whatever you need to replace on your vehicle to get it back to top form, the Bill Walsh Service Team is here to help!
